I’ll be the first to admit that using Wax Effects on a gel plate was not the first technique that came to mind, but in the spirit of “there’s no time to clean up after the last video I filmed”, they were on my workbench when I pulled out a gel plate. I wondered if it was viable, so I played a little and not only discovered that it is, I also realized what incredible prints can be made. You can use Wax Effects alone as you’ll see me demo first, but it’s when you combine them with regular acrylic paint that things get very interesting!
