Watercolor paper, when cut on our laser, can be transformed into any shape of my choosing. Strathmore’s 140# cold pressed version that we use for our products is a marvelous surface. It handles all of the wet media you can throw at it and looks great once everything is dry.
Recently we introduced Journaldex Cards, made from that marvelous watercolor paper, that are compatible with rotary filing systems. Art continues to intersect with office supplies and new today are Watercolor Index Cards in what I think of as the three standard sizes: 3″ x 5″, 4″ x 6″, and 5″ x 7″. We’re also debuting tabbed dividers in each of the three sizes so you can organize your cards.
Both are a lot of fun to create, but what makes all of this even better is the storage box that’s also new today. It’s perfectly sized for the 5″ x 7″ Index Cards and Dividers. In the video you’ll see me embellish one using Art By Marlene Collage Paper. I kept mine pretty simple, but if you want to go all out with paint and stamped images you can.
