Welcome back to our regularly scheduled MidWeek Muse video series! After two weeks of holiday madness we can settle back into our usual creative places. I was more than ready to get back to it and I hope that you are too.
Today’s video puts the creative spotlight on Viva Decor’s Maya Gold paint. It’s a water based acrylic that’s filled with luscious shimmer and deep, intense color. It’s permanent once dry, including on fabric. Because of the high pigment load the paint is rich and lush, but it can be thinned with water without the color breaking down to create pale washes of color and glimmer.
There are plenty of shimmery paints to choose from, but unless something far, far better comes along to supplant it, Maya Gold will be my shimmery paint of choice. Yup, I like it that much!
