Today I’m working with Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish, a water based pearlescent product that goes on easily, dries quickly, and produces a lustrous metallic/pearlescent effect.
I wrote that in December 2017 when we received our first order and the product was brand new to us. Fast forward 5 months and the initial attraction I felt for has blossomed into a full-fledged crush. If it were possible to be a fan-girl of an inanimate object, I’d declare myself one of Gilding Polish.
What’s new this day in May 2018 are six vibrant, bold hues that have expanded the palette to twenty-eight colors. Say hello to Bright Sunshine, Electric Blue, Lime Burst, Lush Pink, Purple Paradise, and Tangy Tangerine.
There are a lot of ways to incorporate Gilding Polish into your art in addition to creating backgrounds. You can stamp with it, apply it through a stencil, use it like paint by thinning it with water, and then spattering what’s leftover to create visual texture.
I wrote that in the same blog post in December and in today’s video you’ll see me work with some of the new colors, utilizing those techniques. They’re fabulous and I know you’re going to love them as much as I do.
What you’ll love just as much is the news that we’ve put the entire group on sale at 20% off. This way you can indulge in the six new colors or replenish your stash without breaking your budget.
