Welcome to Wednesday and our newest video tutorial which features Graphic 45’s brand new Steampunk Spells papers and lots of Tim’s Idea-ology metal bits, all used to create a cool Steampunk themed Halloween assemblage in the niche of a deep canvas.
This was new territory for me as I’d never used a canvas in this manner, where you turn it around and use the niche that’s on the backside. It was new, and as it turns out, a really fun project. So much so that I ended up creating three versions!
Everyone seems to love Halloween (me included!) and I jumped when I saw the Steampunk Spells paper line from Graphic 45. We’ve got all 12 of the 12″ x 12″ papers, plus the three die cut sets (flowers, tags & pockets, banners), and both of the chipboard sets. You’ll see many of these items used in my three versions of the project.
