Early in 2017 Imagine Crafts rereleased their Fireworks Sprays in 2 ounce mister bottles. This new packaging is comparable to most of the other ink and glimmer sprays on the market as is the cost; $4.99 each.
One of the more interesting characteristics of Fireworks is that they’re visible on black and dark surfaces, which is an advantage over most dye based sprays that are transparent and mostly disappear on those surfaces. Also worth noting is that they’re nearly permanent when dry, so the pattern you see is the one that will remain, even if you add other wet media on top.
In today’s video I’ll demo the basic information about Fireworks and show you that Imagine Crafts also changed the spray pattern the mister produces to something a bit more predictable than what the original ones created. That’s important when spraying through a stencil or just adding a layer of shimmery color that you want to be reasonably even. You’ll even see that you can stamp with Fireworks simply by spraying the product onto a NonStick Craft Sheet or palette, ink the stamp by dipping it into the color, and then print. Easy and awesome are two words that apply to working with these sprays.
Whether you pair Fireworks with stencils or just spray color on a page, you’re going to get really nice results; great coverage and lots of glimmer.
