I’m back at it again, creating with Tim’s Eclectic Elements fabric collection, this time making fabric boxes. Not just any boxes however, ones to create in just about any size you wish, with covers and embellished with Tim’s Ideaology bits and other goodies.
I’ll show you how to make the boxes from the ground up; from designing the size to determining the cutting requirements for the Peltex and fabric, to the construction and embellishing.
The best part? It’s easy and anyone can do it!
The better part?? I’ve done the math for you on two sizes of boxes; 4″ x 6″ and 6″ x 9″. I’ve written it all out – the diagrams, the cutting requirements, everything – for both of those sizes and have that information available on a two page document that you can download. Supplies For This Video:
Yard Goods, Fat Quarter Bundles
Ideaology Foundations Feet, Curio Knobs, Muse Tokens

Hi Barb, I’m a little late to the party on the box video, which I just discovered today. Would you mind supplying a link to the PDF document with the dimensions? Link in the text above is missing. Thanks very much!
Hi Gail,
The post has been revised to include the download link. Apologies for forgetting it in the first place!
Thanks so much, Barb! I can’t wait to make this box! I’ve already got all of the supplies to do it. I have to say that I love your instructional videos. You are so clear in explaining everything. I only recently discovered your Joggles store and have purchased a number of stencils. Thanks again!
You’re welcome. I hope you have fun making the boxes. Thanks for your kind comments about the videos! :+)
