Welcome to Wednesday and a new MidWeek Muse video where I’ll show you how to create your own personal imagery by carving simple rubber stamps. We’ll be using Speedball’s Lino cutter and their Speedy Cut and Speedy Carve blocks, and once you see how easy this is you’ll be carving up a storm!
The designs can be simple or more complex, but the best part is that the process is not difficult and in no time you’ll have a cache of unique designs to incorporate into your art. In addition to the usual carving techniques I’ll show you how to use fondant cutters and Speedy Cut in a way that I’m guessing the folks at Wilton never imagined their cutters being used. Wait till you see how cool this is!
