Pages torn from a book make wonderful surfaces to create on. Adding color and pattern can be done in any number of ways. How you apply the color, and what it is, will determine how much of the text you see. Since I’m taking the time to create on book pages I always want at least some of the text to be seen. It adds texture and interest, which is a good thing for just about any art journal page.
Once the colors are dry you can use them as is, or add to them by doodling with Posca Paint Pens. That extra step goes a long way to make the pages even more interesting and fun to create with.
