I have another new product for you that’s featured in today’s MidWeek Muse video. It’s not one of those headline-getting, attention-grabbing, high profile type of products, but rather something quite simple that will go a long way towards making your creative life a bit easier and convert some of your existing products into more useful ones. And if you’re anything like me (“The Messiest Gluer In The World”), you’ll get better results too. I think of them as Tools To Make Art Easier.
What is it?
Our new Joggles Fineline Applicators!
Available to fit many sizes of bottles, I’ve got a bunch of different gauge tips to allow for dispensing all kinds of liquids – glue, Glossy Accents, Distress Paint! In the video I’ll show you what the designations 24/410 and 20/410 mean (no mystery here, it’s easy!), plus help you understand how to make good choices about which gauge dispensing needles to select. You’ll see me attach a tip to a bottle of Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and squeeze out the tiniest little lines and dots of glue, making the job of sticking those teeny little bits down so much easier. And better. Being able to squeeze out minute amounts of glue, just enough to get the job done, means no more of it squishing outside of the piece you’re adhering. I’m all for anything that can help me be less of a messy gluer.
Even better? The 24/410 caps screw right on to Distress Paint bottles, converting them into a fineline writer! Scribble a message. Draw with the paint. Doodle, make dots, or outline letters. Any of those things becomes super-simple once you add a Fineline Applicator to the bottle of paint. You’ll want to use a 24/410 cap with a 20 gauge needle.
