Guest artist Jenn Engle is back today, this time creating with our Watercolor and Black Index Cards and transforming them into a couple of journals. Using a nicely done perfect binding, Jenn mixes in multiple sizes of Index Cards, staggering smaller sized ones in for a quiet different look.
Jenn demos her perfect binding and the technique she used to create the multicolored decorative elements that adorn the spine and covers. She also uses Cat Kerr’s Reinforcements Foam Stamp as the main image on the covers and it looks great. I found the whole process fascinating and really like the colorful binding. I suspect you will too!

I absolutely love this little book! What great ideas! I’ve been into adding stitching to my journals and other paper craft projects and I think it adds a wonderful texture dimension to my art. Thank you so much!
