Today’s video shows off our newest Joggles product: Masonite Boxes. Available in 7 size/shape configurations, they assemble easily and make the perfect canvas for your 3D projects.
My project for today is to transform a 4″ x 6″ box into a Halloween themed piece that also features one of those gigantic Frank Morrow metal spiders. And by large I mean LARGE. That spider measures a whopping 4 1/2″ long, plus it’s been formed into a 3D shape that just doesn’t stand quietly on your piece, it stands up and commands your attention!
I’ve used BoBunny’s Wonderfully Wicked papers and embellishments along with several of Tim Holtz’s Halloween themed Ideaology pieces on the outside of the box and on the lid. Add in a sprinkle of an Art Glitter Elements and a bit of Ultrafine Glitter in strategic places and it all comes together in a finished project I really like.
For a limited time we have the entire Ideaology department on sale at 23% off, so you can indulge yourself and save a bit at the same time!
In addition, we’re getting a head start on the Columbus Day long weekend by increasing the Every Day Discout to 18%. The website automatically reduces the cost of each eligible product by that amount, so the savings happen without you needing to do a thing.
Be sure to scroll down the page to see photos of my finished box and of Virginia’s Halloween Shrine and her other that was created using Tim’s Vignette Coffin as the base.
Supplies For This Video:
Joggles Shrines. The sample you see in the video is based on our Wings Shrine.

Frank Morrow Metal Shapes. I used that awesome 4.5″ long spider
BoBunny Wonderfully Wicked Papers & Accessories
Distress Paint. I used Black Soot.

Barb, that Box turned out fantastic…..Great Job Lady
Thanks very much. It was fun to create!
Your box is so cool. I have already got 1 spider but I ordered another one! Funny thing is, I’m terrified of spiders and when my other one came in I could hardly touch it. It still gives me goose bumps but it is so cool! Virginia’s shrine is also fabulous! I love the wings on it!
They’re creepy as all get out, but so fabulous it’s worth messing with them! And yes, Virginia’s shrine is the bomb!
