Chris is back today with another of her projects; this time a quick and easy card you can make for Easter.
The imagery is from three of our collage sheets: Bunnies & Eggs, Bird Feathers Fluff and Watercolor Butterflies II. Working with collage sheets is a time saver since there is no need to stamp and color. Whether you use them because you love the images or because you’re pressed for time, they’re a fabulous resource.
As always, a big thank-you shout out to Chris for sharing her work!
Birdy Easter Card
Supplies:
American Crafts 4″ x 5.5″ Cards & Envelopes [366014]
Tim Holtz Distress Paint: Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick
Tim Holtz Distress Marker: Mowed Lawn
Tim Holtz Paper Stash: Wallflower

Joggles Collage Sheets: Bunnies & Eggs, Bird Feathers Fluff, Watercolor Butterflies II

Disposable Foam Cosmetic Sponges
Memento Ink Pad: Hot Cocoa

To Make the Card
Use the Tim Holtz Distress Paints to color a 1 inch border around the outside edge of the card. Use a dampened cosmetic sponge to blend the colors.
Ink the Hero Arts Large Floral Background Stamp and stamp over the front of the card.
From the Tim Holtz Paper Stash Wallflower Papers find the text paper and cut a piece to measure 4 1/2 inches by 3 inches.
Use a text stamp to stamp along the edges of the text paper. Use the Distress Marker to outline the edges.
Use glue dots to adhere the text paper to the front of the card.
Cut the bird, nest and butterfly images from the Joggles Collage Sheets. With a favorite font type ‘Happy Easter’, print and cut out. Use the Dina Wakley’s Gel Medium to adhere all images and ‘Happy Easter’ word banner to the front of the card. Edge the bird image and word banner with the pink fine point marker. Use the pink colored pencil to shade the images and word banner. Apply a small pink bow to the word banner
