Welcome to Wednesday and our newest MidWeek Muse video where I’m playing mad scientist and mixing Dylusions White Linen with lots of colors, in several different ways, to create some amazing journal page spreads.
Today’s video is called “Dylusions Mixology” for that very reason, as we explore mixing this remarkable color with the others in the Dylusions and Color Wash palettes. Not only will you see me mix in bottles, you’ll also see me mix directly on the page, which causes an entirely different reaction and the most marvelous patterns – and that all happens right before your eyes! It’s an incredibly gratifying and exciting way to play with color. I know that this is a technique I’ll use again and again. That’s how much I like it!
In addition to spraying color, you can also use your mixed ones like paint, albeit very thin bodied paint, and that creates a cool, different look too as the pigment in White Linen lends a chalky effect to your painted elements. There’s lots to see and try.
