With the release of sets 8, 9, and 10, the entire Distress palette of 61 non-metallic colors are now available in Crayon form. These sticks of pigment are encased in a tube that functions much like a lipstick, where you twist to extend the stick or do so in the opposite way if you need to retract it.
In today’s video I’ll show you some easy techniques to help you get the most out of your Crayons. Did you know that applying them over a gessoed surface allows the pigment to be spread and smudged much further than on an unprepared one? And that you can use them with the Mini Ink Blending Tool and apply them through a stencil?
Those are just a couple of ways to use Distress Crayons and with the entire range of colors being available, your creative options are wide open.
