Today I’m using our new Joggles Cling Stamps along with Daler Rowney’s FW Pearlescent Inks, Dina Wakley’s Media Paint, Stickles, Liquid Pearls, and other fun bits in a color and technique filled video that I had a lot of fun filming.
What is it? The August and September page spreads in my Creativity Calendar Journal.
Here’s the thing: even if you’re not following along in your own version at the moment, the techniques you’ll see me use are transferable to anything and everything else. That’s the beauty of the art we create; it’s limitless. Use the parts that excite you. Tweak the techniques to suit your project. Change the colors to ones that you prefer.
Here’s another thing: nothing says you can only begin working on one of these calendars at the beginning of the year. I didn’t start mine until March and there’s nothing which says you can’t begin now. If you’re interested, go for it! I’m always available via email to answer questions.
Along with the video are photos of my finished page spreads. August is a single one while September saw me using three so I could showcase our stamps. I’ve discovered that I like working in grids and you’ll see that too.
