Texture Paste or molding paste… whichever you name you use to refer to the thick media that can be scraped through the openings of a stencil or mask to create a raised reproduction of the pattern isn’t something you generally think of using with a gel plate. But when you let that raised texture paste dry, it can be used to pattern paint on a gel plate before you pull a print. You can go simple with one design on a sheet of heavy card as I did or combine many to create something quite unique. Elizabeth chose to combine multiple designs to make a colographic plate, with some pretty awesome results!
