Creating Shimmery Acorn Ornaments

Today I’m getting in the holiday spirit and creating some glimmery acorn ornaments. Before you roll your eyes, muttering that I’m out of my mind, just think how happy you’ll be come the beginning of December when you have sweet little ornaments ready to decorate with, to give as gifts, or to have for your own tree. Assuming, of course, that you begin soon!

Creating the ornaments is really simple using our acorn caps, wool felt balls, some sparkly bits, and a few other items. In the video you’ll see me use 1.5cm white felt balls to make many of the samples, but I’ll also use the 1.5cm Multi Mix which gives a nice assortment of colors to make ornaments with. If you want to make the 2-part beaded ornaments you’ll need the 2cm Multi Mix too. This will all make sense once you watch the video, I promise.
