Today’s video is a Dina Wakley special. By that I mean it’s about a special project she created and taught to a room full of retailers at Creativation in January. The class gave us an opportunity to play with the new 6″ x 6″ White Journal, a stencil, and the new stamp set named Good Idea.
My version, filmed for today’s video, also incorporates the new pastel colors of Media Paint along with the other products I mentioned. It was fun to circle round and create another version of the project, especially since I’m such a fan of the new pastel colors.
In the video I’ll explain the project from start to completion and as you’ll see, it’s pretty darn easy to do.

Thank you Barb for this week’s muse lesson. I immediately felt the desire to create something beautiful, using the painting techniques you demonstrated and adding tissue paper stamping and stenciling. You made a lovely and delicate spread. It looks like you and your brush just flittered briefly across the page. It has such movement, just by how you used your wash and brush. Thanks for showing how you dance with your brush. I look forward to creating a similar background. It would certainly be nice to have those wonderful little pastel paints of Dina’s paints. Off to add to my wishlist….
