Happy New Year! The holidays seemed to fly by, didn’t they? We have snow and it looks and feels like winter here in the northeast. It’s a good time to hunker down and create and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing, with a new project today as our MidWeek Muse video.
You’ve seen me create cards from Ranger’s giant #12 tags and today I’m folding them in a similar fashion and making books. Add in 90# watercolor paper for the pages, a funky snap closure, and you’ve got a great little book to toss in your purse. Think of how handy one would be for those times when you need to jot down an idea that’s percolating in your head, do a quick sketch, or even make a grocery list. The books don’t take long to construct and would make a thoughtful gift to arty (or not) friends. They’re quite a lot like those chips you can’t just eat one of… you’ll want to make more and more of them! See how easy they are in today’s video:
