Welcome to Wednesday and the newest MidWeek Muse video where I’ve taken my annual trek on the Christmas card making train, this year using one of our stamps as the focal image.
Mickey has a bit of an attitude, with a somewhat grumpy look on his face, so I decided he would make a great grumpy Santa. I’ve altered the image a little from the way it stamps by removing the ears and replacing them with a hat that I’ll show you how to create.
Anyone can make a card with a Santa, but only you can create one where he’s grumpy! I’ve given you options for the first layer to use scrapbook paper from Tim Holtz’s Merriment Paper Stash or you can create your own. The second layer has some shimmery dots, courtesy of our Background Noise – Dots stamp and Perfect Pearls. I’ll give you dimensions for each layer (there are two), so you know how to cut your pieces.
