To say I didn’t expect to really enjoy working with Prima’s Re-Design Chalk Paste is a bit of an understatement. I went into my experimentation with an open mind, but was completely wowed by the results.
Super thick to provide lots of opacity, the line currently includes 20 colors and I managed to use all but a couple as I played. Chalk Paste is water based and intermixable, so if you need a color not available it’s easy enough to create a custom one.
I really liked Chalk Paste on our Watercolor Disc Bound Journals, Index Cards, and Tags, but it was on the black Index Cards that I fell head over heels in love. You’ll see how awesome it looks on the black in the video. The journal you see in the introduction has black 4″ x 6″ Index Cards as covers. The imagery printed on them is provided by Cat Kerr’s Grunge Rounds Foam Stamp. I used the Iron Gate color of Chalk Paste which looks marvelous against the background.
Supplies For This Video:
Joggles Index Cards (watercolor & black)
Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Shakers
Joggles & Cat Kerr Foam Stamps (I used Cat’s Grunge Round, plus our Blossom and Loopy Border)

Thanks so much for all the time and planning to present how to use different art products. What may look simple oftentimes took a lot of creative thinking pulling everything together. I’m a card maker utilizing different media and I know simple cards can be foolers. I just want to say how I enjoy and appreciate these weekly videos. I buy lots of product and it’s all from understanding which each one is capable of doing. Thumbs up to you!!
