Today’s MidWeek Muse video features little bits of creativity named Art Tiles.
Made from plain old chipboard, Art Tiles are anything but plain once finished. I think they’re quite wonderful and spent quite a lot of time experimenting with the techniques. With sizes ranging from 1″ x 2″ to 2″ x 2.5″, they can easily become an embellishment for another project… or stand on their own merit.
You’ll see the entire process in the video right up to the final step, which is a layer of Glossy Accents to cover the surface, including the 3D embellishments I used. Adding that layer causes the entire Art Tile to take on a beautiful, luminous glow. It also strengthens the appearance of depth created by all of the layers, creating a lovely finished piece.
