At long last, the final 12 colors in the Distress line are here and ready to ship! With this final release, the Oxide line is complete at 60 colors. The Reinkers are here too, so if you’re into full sets… you’re in luck.
Today’s video will demo a couple of easy techniques and I especially like the second one where I bring in a Gel Press Plate and use the reinkers on it to create striations and patterns. What I demo today is a fraction of the techniques and ways you can work with Oxides. Take the time to work with them… you won’t be disappointed.

Those colors are delicious and the techniques are awesome. Thanks, Barb.
I am not a fan of the oxide look
. But when I add Tim’s glaze, it brightens the look and makes the colors not necessarily brighter but rather more alive. If that makes sense. So, it is a win win for me.
This means if I want the flat look of the oxides fine, but if not, I can still make use of their advantages with the glass…

Very cool looks with the new oxides and the gelli plate! I like the look of the mixed oxides. However, I will also try Dolores’s idea, which sounds interesting!
