Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Polish

Water based and full of mica, Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Polish is suitable for most porous surfaces such as paper, cardstock, chipboard, wood, basket reed, etc. and creates a lustrous metallic finish. A light coat is generally dry in about 30 seconds and a second coat can be added over the top if desired. Ombre can be created by applying colors next to one another and lightly blending where they overlap. The product can be intermixed to create a custom palette of colors, it can be thinned with water to create a glimmery wash, plus you can stamp with it.

Built into the plastic top is a round foam applicator which means you never need to put your fingers in the jar, avoiding the possibility of cross contaminating it. It's recommended that you rinse the applicator sponge with water before the first time you use it and it can be washed with soap and water after each use, if you wish.

Apply Gilding Paste to embossed paper to highlight the raised areas or to an entire page as a background. The product can also be used with stencils though best results are obtained with an Inkssentials Mini Ink Blending Tool rather than the foam applicator.
