This cradled wood panel features a smooth birch surface that's ready to go as is or can be primed with gesso, etc. The pine cradle on this studio depth surface measures 3/4" deep, allowing you to hang it without framing. It will stand up to all kinds of heavy media without warping and is a perfect surface for your mixed media creations.

Turn about is fair play, too...use the back side as the front of your work and you have a shadow box!
