With Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Watercolor Paint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In today&#8217;s video I&#8217;m working with another Cosmic Shimmer product, this time their <strong>Iridescent Watercolor Paint<\/strong>.\u00a0 Like all of the CS products, they&#8217;re high quality and well made.\u00a0 As with the previous ones I&#8217;ve played with, the big attraction is the glimmer and shine.<\/p>\n<p>Packaged in sets of 12, they combine the best qualities of watercolor paint with the shimmer of mica powder.\u00a0 The plastic case is nicely done and allows you to see through the clear lid and view the colors held in the palette.\u00a0 They&#8217;re compact enough to travel easily but not so small as to be frustrating to work with.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not well acquainted with watercolor paints, rest assured that you don&#8217;t need to be a fine artist to get the most from them.\u00a0 In the video you&#8217;ll see me demo some simple techniques that allow you to use them in a more mixed media fashion to create interesting backgrounds; both\u00a0with a brush and also\u00a0 using Tim Holtz&#8217;s Wrinkle Free technique.\u00a0 Grab a brush and use these paints to color stamped images &#8211; they perfect for that simple type of creative play.<\/p>\n<p>Since these are watercolor paints, it makes sense to work on watercolor paper, right?\u00a0 Enter our <strong>Watercolor Art Parts<\/strong> and <strong>Watercolor Disc Bound Journals<\/strong> &#8211; both made from Strathmore&#8217;s 140# cold pressed watercolor paper.\u00a0 Having said that, when you see me creating a background on an ATC, that&#8217;s Strathmore&#8217;s Bristol paper &#8211; the paint is equally effective on both for most techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Give the Iridescent Watercolor
