Last time I used one of these, I created a riotous mixture of colour and bling \u2013 this time I have a very subdued project! I had already decided to leave the inside in it&#8217;s natural state as the dark brown colour toned with the products I was using. I then cut the Lokta paper to size, to line the inside back panel and go around the outside of the shrine.<\/p>\n<p>I used the Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add warmth and depth to the papers and glued in place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-HERgMHQM\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7357\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"835\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The metalware I had chosen to use needed a colour change too. Much as I love the steel grey colour, I wanted a more sepia tone so used Alcohol Inks in Pebble and Copper to add warmth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-HERgMHQM\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7356\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"518\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Originally I intended to stick the Paper Dolls image to the inside back panel directly but it looked to flat, so I used some scraps of foam board to create a little &#8216;block&#8217; to fit behind the cut out and allow it to stand proud of the panel. You could do the same with 3d foam pads, building them up to the required depth.<\/p>\n<p>I needed some strong glue for the Metal Stamping and Word Band so used my hot glue gun.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/3.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-HERgMHQM\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"1070\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I hope that you have enjoyed this project from me today, it&#8217;s another quick and easy one!
