2017 Art Journal Adventure &#8211; Week 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week Bonnie&#8217;s prompt was to use strong horizontal and vertical elements.\u00a0 I decided to turn that around for week 15 and go kind of in the opposite direction; to incorporate curvy or round elements as the prompt.<\/p>\n<p>You may notice my page is smaller than previous ones.\u00a0 My time has been so fractured lately that it was either work smaller or not get anything finished.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve trimmed the size of my page from 8&#8243; x 10&#8243; to 5&#8243; x 8&#8243; and found that the smaller size meant I was able to finish.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll notice that everything on this page is round; the tiny circles way in the background, the larger ones cut from deli paper, the flowers, and the dots I filled those larger circles in with.\u00a0 Yours doesn&#8217;t have to have every last thing be round, just incorporate round or curvy shapes somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Onward!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017-aja-week-15-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-MURUwFsv\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5677\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017-aja-week-15-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"918\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My first round element is a ring cut from a piece of deli paper.\u00a0 You will also (barely) see that I sprayed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/paint-dye-and-ink\/lindys-stamp-gang-two-toned-starburst-sprays\/lindys-stamp-gang-two-toned-starburst-spray-creme-brulee-cream.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Cr\u00e8me Brule Cream Lindy&#8217;s Starburst Spray<\/a> in the area where the ring center is.\u00a0 My original idea was to have one ring, then I realized the page needed more.\u00a0 I added them but didn&#8217;t bother with additional spray.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017-aja-week-15-1-2.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-MURUwFsv\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5678\" height=\"830\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then playing with ideas for stamped elements I wanted to add.\u00a0 Since I&#8217;m working &#8220;round&#8221;, I decided to keep to that theme as much as possible.\u00a0 These are all my drawings, made into stamps.\u00a0 Doodle Flowers and Scribble Flowers.\u00a0 You can find them in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017-aja-week-15-4.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-MURUwFsv\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img rings&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017-aja-week-15-5.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-MURUwFsv\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"918\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Glued the colored flowers in place, then added some dots to the center of the circles formed by the deli paper rings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017-aja-week-15-6.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-MURUwFsv\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img
