text.\u00a0 It was vexing and I&#8217;m not as happy with it as I am with the other lettering, but I&#8217;m (trying to) let it go.<\/p>\n<p>**If you decide to bind your loose pages like I plan to, make sure to leave space on the left side of the front cover.\u00a0 I know you have not seen the binding yet, but can promise that it&#8217;s nice.\u00a0 Where I went wrong was placing the words &#8220;ART JOURNAL ADVENTURE&#8221; too close to the left edge.\u00a0 I have barely .25&#8243; for the binding to wrap around to the front.\u00a0 It will work, but I&#8217;m going to lose the squiggly border along that entire side.\u00a0 I completely forgot about it I was so engrossed in what I was doing.<\/p>\n<p>You should leave a half inch, or perhaps 5\/8&#8243;, from the left\u00a0edge of your page to the top of the letters,\u00a0for the binding to wrap around.\u00a0 Of course this presumes you align your lettering the way I did.\u00a0 Or have some part of the cover design there.\u00a0 Just remember to leave that space for the binding!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-2.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-amHWJDlP\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5152\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-2.jpg\" alt=\"2047-aja-week-1-2\" width=\"700\" height=\"772\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the inside of my front cover.\u00a0 Imagine the journal with the cover opened &#8211; this is what you&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n<p>That piece of Media Tape?\u00a0 It approximates what I&#8217;ll be using to bind the pages together, one at a time.\u00a0 I&#8217;m leaving space for it and keeping the right edge of my design far enough away so none of it will be covered.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve penciled in the area where I plan to make a note of each week&#8217;s prompt.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t take credit for this brilliant idea, it was Bonnie&#8217;s and I&#8217;m just borrowing it!\u00a0 The lines will act as a guideline for placement of the squiggly border.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-3.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-amHWJDlP\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5153\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-3.jpg\" alt=\"2047-aja-week-1-3\" width=\"700\" height=\"842\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A cow?\u00a0 I know, right?\u00a0 Where the hell did a cow come from?\u00a0 The Tattered Angels Mixed Media Origins Papers are dual sided and the cow was on the reverse side of the sheet where the rooster came from.\u00a0 It was placed in such a way that it didn&#8217;t get cut when I cut out the rooster and it seemed a shame not to use it, so I&#8217;m gonna.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the border is in and the penciled lines are gone.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-4.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-amHWJDlP\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5156\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-4.jpg\" alt=\"2047-aja-week-1-4\" width=\"700\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Horizontal lines in place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-5.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-amHWJDlP\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5157\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-5.jpg\" alt=\"2047-aja-week-1-5\" width=\"700\" height=\"764\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the vertical ones are too, though the first two I penciled in\u00a0(meant to divide the page vertically in thirds) were incorrect.\u00a0 I erased parts of the incorrect ones at the top of the page so when I was ready to number the places for the prompts I didn&#8217;t align the digits with the wrong one.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, I glued that goofy cow in place too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-6.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-amHWJDlP\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5155\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2047-aja-week-1-6.jpg\" alt=\"2047-aja-week-1-6\" width=\"700\" height=\"776\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Numbered and ready to go, though I probably should have written &#8220;create journal cover&#8221; in the space for week #1.\u00a0 I&#8217;m leaving the pencil lines so I have guidelines for horizontal alignment when I enter each week&#8217;s prompt.\u00a0 I&#8217;m pleased with this and now that it&#8217;s done I&#8217;ll be ready to move on when the time comes!<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to checkout the Facebook AJA group.\u00a0 Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1747477262148576\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> to go there and request access.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a &#8220;Closed&#8221;
