If you’ve watched any of the videos in recent weeks you probably heard me reference the Back To Back To Back Book or seen pages from it as I demoed a technique or product.\u00a0 I’ve used them as part of several projects and today’s video is the culmination of it all; where you’ll see how to assemble the pages to create the book and how to cover the spine with Sticky Back Canvas that’s been colored with Distress Paint.<\/p>\n
I love this book, I have to say.\u00a0 It’s chunky and sturdy and invites the viewer to turn the pages to see what comes next.\u00a0 And, that’s with nothing added to the pages other than the sprays, paint, and other colors and textures.\u00a0 At the end of the video you’ll see me discuss some of what I did to take them from white to wonderful.\u00a0 A spray here and some paint on a brayer there… big dots made with a Mini Ink Blending Tool.\u00a0 All of the usual avenues to making things interesting.<\/p>\n
The book is simple to make with pages glued back to back to back (thus the name) and then using the aforementioned Sticky Back Canvas to camouflage the page folds that make up the spine.\u00a0 It can be made with any size pages and you can add as many as you like.\u00a0 Thick or thin, big or small, I know you’re gonna love my Back To Back To Back Book!<\/p>\n
