Good morning Joggles friends! It’s Kim <\/a>here and I am happy to share with you my latest design team project. This time I have altered one of Joggles Wonky Wood Houses, and am also featuring some very cool stamps!<\/p>\n

Here is my process:<\/p>\n

OK, let’s get started! The first task was to gesso the Wonky Wood House on all sides. Although I used House #8, you can use any of the selection of these houses, and maybe even make a few of them. I love these fun houses!<\/p>\n

Once the gesso was dry, I sprayed on some of the Peony colour bloom spray in various places. Remember to do both sides of your house, too!<\/p>\n

I dried the\u00a0spray with my heat tool and then it was time to apply my first colour of paint, Art Alchemy Opal Magic Aqua-Rose. I applied\u00a0a light coating in random spots all over the house, mixing it in with the darker pink of the bloom spray.<\/p>\n

Once this was dry, I did the same thing with the Art Alchemy Metallique Ancient Coin paint. making sure to add some to\u00a0the back, front, and both sides of the house.<\/p>\n

Now it was time to cut out the images I chose from the Joggles collage sheets listed above in the Supplies.<\/p>\n

\"house8\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When the paint\u00a0was\u00a0dry, I decided which stamps I would use to add texture to the background. I used dark pink ink to apply Joggles\/Margaret Applin Designs Cling Rubber\u00a0Skeleton flower stamp, and stamped it randomly on the front, back, and sides.<\/p>\n

I used my heat tool\u00a0to set the ink, and once it was dry, I applied gold ink to Joggles\/ Margaret Applin Designs\u00a0Vintage Correspondence \u00a0Cling Rubber stamp\u00a0and added this all over the house using the same method as earlier.<\/p>\n

In the photo above, you can see a close-up\u00a0of the stamping and paint.<\/p>\n

Next, I worked on putting my own twist on the\u00a0cut-out collage images. I used clear drying\u00a0white glue on the edges of the butterfly, and also on some of the spots. I then sprinkled gold mica flakes and glitter mix on top of the glue and set the butterfly\u00a0aside to dry.<\/p>\n

For this butterfly, I used the same glue and pink glitter on the butterfly, also setting it aside to dry completely.<\/p>\n

\"house13\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Now was the\u00a0time for some foiling! I used Christine Adolph\u00a0Adhesive Rub Ons for this. I chose several images and sentiments, making sure to decorate the front and the back.\u00a0These Rub Ons are so easy to use. You just remove the paper backing and rub the words or image onto your surface using the craft stick that is provided in the package. This leaves adhesive \u00a0to grab the foil.
\n\"house14\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Once you have your adhesive rub-on added, place your foil coloured side up on top of the adhesive from the rub ons. Again using the craft stick, \u00a0gently rub over the foil , and voila! You have a cool foiled image on your project.<\/p>\n

\"house15\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Now it was time to add my embellishments. I started with a crown from Tim Holtz Idea-ology line and using the transfer glue, gave it a little foil treatment as well. I also used a vintage heart applique in the middle of the house, adhering it with white glue.<\/p>\n

I then adhered\u00a0my collage sheet images to the front. I fussy cut\u00a0one of the butterflies and used the\u00a0wings for my fairy lady. I also adhered a metal word band from Tim Holtz adding\u00a0twine wrapped around to the back of the house.
\n\"house17\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The final touch was to apply gold micro beads which were added to clear glue for texture, and also a few gold sparkly enamel dots.<\/p>\n
