It’s Wednesday and time for the newest MidWeek Muse video. Today it’s the Write Stuff, aka putting text on the pages of your journals and other projects.<\/p>\n

Since I don’t use my journals in a diary-like fashion, I challenged myself to devise other ways of incorporating text on the pages. When you watch the video you’ll see that there are lots of ways to write on your pages, including making lists if that’s what you like to do. There is no right or wrong, just what you like and enjoy doing.<\/p>\n

Text can be written with all types of pens or you can stamp the words and you’ll see me demo both options. You can write a lot on a page or you can use really large letters to express a thought, sentiment, or quote. You can write so that the words form a border. The text can dominate the page or just be a bit player on the larger stage that is your page spread or project.<\/p>\n

You’ll notice that my handwriting is nothing special, so please don’t think you must have some sort of calligraphic flair to create interesting pages with writing on them. Nothing could be further from the truth!<\/p>\n
