I’ll let the people at Joggles explain that. Other Supplies:<\/strong> pattern paper, purple glitter cardstock, gold mirror cardstock, ribbon, dimensional foam pads, purple card base 5×5″, chipboard box.<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cover your work surface with an Inkssentials NonStick Craft Sheet. Place a section of the Sticky Snippets Hearts sheet onto the craft mat and apply three colors of Lindy’s Stamp Gang Two Toned Starburst Sprays. First spray Cajun Carnelian Red.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Next add, Jazzy Jivin Purple.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Lastly, spray Bayou Boogie Gold.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Add Jazzy Jivin Purple & Bayou Boogie Gold Starburst Sprays\u00a0onto a section of Sticky Snippets Small Hearts sheet and set aside to dry.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Stamp two alternating images onto a plain white box using VersaMark Ink. As this ink is clear, it is virtually impossible to photograph this step. This technique uses Versamark Ink as a resist which protects the card underneath it and keeps any other ink from absorbing into the background, thus, keeping the stamped image\u00a0white. When Distress Ink is applied over the stamped image, the ink penetrates the uninked cardstock and the stamped images become visible.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Apply Tim Holtz Dusty Concord Distress Ink over the stamped impressions using a sponge applicator and a gentle rubbing motion.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Repeat the process until all sides of the box are covered.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Tear the edges of two coordinating papers, layer them, and adhere them to the front of the gift box. Trim the overhanging excess paper.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Remove the Sticky Snippet Heart and Heart Frame and adhere each to gold mirror cardstock. Cut around both leaving a narrow gold border. Attach the gold edged heart back into the empty heart frame opening\u00a0with dimensional foam pads.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

Using Jet Black StazOn ink, stamp Joggles Cling Rubber “Message in a Bubble” – Believe stamp onto the heart frame background which was left over once the shapes were removed. Trim around the image and mount on gold mirror cardstock. Using the glue of your choice, adhere to the top lid of the gift box. Stamping on the negative leftover piece once the shape has been removed allows you to coordinate your projects perfectly.<\/p>\n

\"Karen<\/a><\/p>\n

When dry, remove the Sticky Snippet Small Hearts from the backing sheet and add them randomly to the sides of the gift box. Wrap a ribbon around the gift box and tie a bow. Place each end of the ribbon between two Sticky Snippets Small Hearts. Add highlights of glitter glue and set aside to dry.<\/p>\n

Coordinating Card:<\/p>\n

The card is made using the same elements as the gift box. The frugal crafter will notice that the border of hearts along the lower edge of the card is the Sticky Snippets Small Hearts frame which was placed onto gold cardstock. The negative frame which remains around a Sticky Snippet shape that has been colored is not to be wasted.<\/p>\n

I hope you have enjoyed my gift box tutorial using Sticky Snippets and Joggles Cling Stamps. Sticky Snippets are sheets of white sticker that have shapes pre-cut and they have been perfectly designed to accept all kinds of paints and sprays without becoming crinkled & warped. Joggles offers many different Sticky Snippet shapes and even has a large solid adhesive page with no pre-cut design so you can cut your own shapes by hand or put them through a die cutting machine. There are so many possibilities to make matching embellishments and wonderfully coordinated projects that I can’t wait to play with them again.<\/p>\n
