Week 24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because I took on too much for Week 23, I ended up having this page span two weeks.\u00a0 I just never had enough time to complete the page in those 7 days.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been called an over-achiever before&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This is where I left off last week:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-23-12.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2767\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-kggC3wfp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2767\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-23-12.jpg\" alt=\"aja-week-23-12\" width=\"700\" height=\"716\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And where my Week 24 journey began.<\/p>\n<p>There were a lot of comments in the Facebook group from people who thought the page was finished as it was, or could be with a bit more done to it.\u00a0 My original plan was to have the words in the middle and the rest of the background filled with doodles.\u00a0 I never even considered leaving white space till it was mentioned, and the more that I considered the possibility, the more I liked the idea.<\/p>\n<p>I decided to complete the circles I&#8217;d penciled in and then leave the rest un-doodled.\u00a0 The circles were all made using one of the Pickett Circle Templates.\u00a0 See the Giant Circles by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/tools-and-supplies\/miscellaneous-supplies\/pickett-template-1201i-giant-circles.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 The Regular Circles are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/tools-and-supplies\/miscellaneous-supplies\/pickett-template-1200i-circles.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> on the site, and the Small Circles can be seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/tools-and-supplies\/miscellaneous-supplies\/pickett-template-1203i-small-circles.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2813\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-kggC3wfp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2813\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-1.jpg\" alt=\"aja-week-24-1\" width=\"700\" height=\"676\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The changes here are the partial shape in the upper right is finished (including the addition of color in the center), the small flower in the cluster of three at the bottom right is finished, and I&#8217;ve begun to work on one other.\u00a0 Which is great until I slip with the pen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2814\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-kggC3wfp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2814\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-2.jpg\" alt=\"aja-week-24-2\" width=\"700\" height=\"933\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ooops.\u00a0 I hate when that happens.\u00a0 I was using one of the circle templates and the pen went wonky, all on its own.\u00a0 I had nothing to do with it even though I was holding the pen in one hand and the template against the page with the other.\u00a0 Really.\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-3.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2815\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-kggC3wfp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2815\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-3.jpg\" alt=\"aja-week-24-3\" width=\"700\" height=\"855\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mistakes like this are design choices that you weren&#8217;t even aware you had.\u00a0 I could get all annoyed and pissed off&#8230; or make this a design choice.\u00a0 I actually did both, but you didn&#8217;t hear that from me.<\/p>\n<p>Since I can&#8217;t fix it any way other than to cover it, I made the design choice to create a solid ring.\u00a0 This is where a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/rubber-stamps-and-paper-art-supplies\/faber-castell-pitt-brush-pens\/faber-castell-pitt-artist-brush-pen-b-black.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Black PITT Brush Pen<\/a> comes in really handy.\u00a0 It fills in these kinds of shapes way faster (and more neatly when I&#8217;m wielding the pens) than if I used an S, F, or M tip.\u00a0 You can see all of those pointy tipped PITT Pens by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/rubber-stamps-and-paper-art-supplies\/faber-castell-pitt-pens\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-5.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2817\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-kggC3wfp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2817\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-5.jpg\" alt=\"aja-week-24-5\" width=\"700\" height=\"689\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s the element finished and I like it.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not &#8216;dancing in the dark&#8217; liking it, but it&#8217;s not bad given the pen slip!\u00a0 What I really like it the element in the upper left corner; the one with the open circles on the black ring and pointy thingys on the outside.<\/p>\n<p>Almost finished&#8230; there&#8217;s only one more penciled circle waiting to be finished.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-6.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2818\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-kggC3wfp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2818\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joggles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/aja-week-24-6.jpg\" alt=\"aja-week-24-6\" width=\"700\" height=\"701\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s done.\u00a0 I put color in the last element to kind of balance things and overall I&#8217;m happy with the page.\u00a0 I&#8217;m also happy that it&#8217;s done, but I think I will miss messing with it.
