Today’s MidWeek Muse video features little bits of creativity named Art Tiles.<\/p>\n
Made from plain old chipboard, Art Tiles are anything but plain once finished. I think they’re quite wonderful and spent quite a lot of time experimenting with the techniques. With sizes ranging from 1″ x 2″ to 2″ x 2.5″, they can easily become an embellishment for another project… or stand on their own merit.<\/p>\n
You’ll see the entire process in the video right up to the final step, which is a layer of Glossy Accents to cover the surface, including the 3D embellishments I used. Adding that layer causes the entire Art Tile to take on a beautiful, luminous glow. It also strengthens the appearance of depth created by all of the layers, creating a lovely finished piece.<\/p>\n
