Today’s MidWeek Muse video is an interesting one with lots of creative play. Named “What Lies Beneath”, the focus of the work is about layers; adding, then removing them, to reveal “what lies beneath”. There are multiple ways to create those layers and plenty of options for removing them, so lots to try.
Colors can be used randomly or planned based on your preference or what the project requires. You’ll see me remove layers with different tools, from baby wipes to the backend of a paintbrush to Princeton’s Catalyst Contour Tools. They’re wicked fun, which I discovered as I was working with them.
