Welcome to Wednesday and our newest MidWeek Muse where I’m in a world of patterned color, created by printing all types of thin bodied paint on… shaving cream!
Shaving cream printing is a simple, fun technique that produces incredible patterns, incredibly easily. I’m not sure why I waited so long to try my hand at it, but am glad that I finally did. You can print on paper of all kinds and on fabric, so the sky really is the limit with this technique.
In the video you’ll see me use Daler Rowney’s FW Inks (because I adore them), plus Distress Paint, Dylusions Ink Sprays, and Color Wash sprays as my color on the shaving cream. I think you’re going to be amazed at the things you can do with these products when they’re used with this technique.
