Today’s MidWeek Muse video looks at the 6 new colors of Tim’s Distress Paint that were released a few weeks ago. I finally had a chance to play with them and they didn’t disappoint!

Crushed Olive, Dusty Concord, Gathered Twigs, Pumice Stone, Ripe Persimmon, and Scattered Straw are the new group and are featured in the video along with the existing colors, and I’ll show you how to combine these 6 news colors with the others.

With its extended open time and unique Distress properties, this paint allows you to work differently than how you might with regular acrylic paint so there’s lots to explore and try including techniques that take advantage of the special way Distress paint behaves, plus my scribble/doodle flowers, adding inclusions on top of the paint, and how to stamp with the paint.
