Tim Holtz’s Alcohol Pearls continue to fascinate… with their shimmery intense colors, Pearls pack a creative wallop. Last week I created a swatch book using our new 3″ x 4″ Yupo Disc Bound Journal, devoting one page to each color.
I spent the last few days musing about how the Pearls would interact with the existing Alcohol Inks. Then I decided we needed larger versions of the Yupo Disc Bound Journals and the next thing I knew, I was hip-deep in Inks, Pearls, and Yupo pages.
What I discovered was both interesting and unexpected; discovering that what worked wet on wet didn’t always translate to wet on dry. That’ll make more sense once you watch the video. Be prepared: Alcohol Pearls are amazing!
