Hi Joggles fans. It’s Karen here today and I’m so excited to share my Halloween cards using Halloween collage sheets exclusive to Joggles. There are traditional images like bats, spiders, and pumpkins, as well as some charismatic owls that have a bit of pizzazz & personality.

Place a Sticky Snippet Large Circle onto a piece of cardboard. Stamp a quote or sentiment onto the center of the circle using Jet Black StazOn ink.
Color the circle/moon with Faber Castell Pitt Artist Brush Pens using gently curved small strokes.
To create the spherical appearance of the moon, leave a small area at 2 o’clock completely white to become a reflection of light. Begin to apply Light Yellow Pitt Artist Brush pen around the white glare spot. Next, apply Cadmium Yellow around the edge of the circle. The edge of the moon should be the darkest shade of yellow which becomes gradually lighter as it approaches the glare(white space) from the reflection. Gradually blend the colors to allow for some overlap of shades in the mid section.
Use your finger to apply Perfect Medium Ink or Versamark pen smudged irregularly along the edges of the moon. Sprinkle Perfect Pearls Gold Pigment Powder over the ink and spread/set with a brush to create a beautiful golden aurora.
Finally, apply Yellow Stickles Glitter Glue over the moon, heavier toward the edges, and set aside to dry.
Color the images from the Joggles Halloween Things Collage Sheet (jack-o-lantern, bat, broom) with colored pencils and carefully fussy cut. Use a craft knife for intricate and delicate areas. Lastly, apply the same Stickles Glitter Glue on the face of the jack-o-lantern and set aside to dry.
Use gold acrylic paint to stamp a frame for the Halloween images. Repeatedly stamp the Joggles/Margaret Applin Grunge Star Border stamp to create a star border around the outside of the 6×6″ black card stock. Be sure to wash the paint off the stamp immediately after using. Adhere the black card stock to the white card base.
Assemble the cut out collage elements.
Arrange them to create a composition you like and adhere them with dimensional foam tape.
Here is another card I created using some of the same materials and techniques. I call this one Owl Trick or Treaters Card.
This second card also used the Grunge Star Border stamp to make the background but this time I stamped onto patterned paper.
Then I added some costume details to the owls to turn them into Trick-or-Treaters. (Princess, Mustache Man, Bumble Bee) and adhered them onto the patterned paper along with a Halloween sentiment cut into a flag. Faux stitching was added to the edges of the flag and it was matted with orange card stock.
Additional Owl Card Supplies:
Faber Castell PITT Artist Brush Pen – [B] Orange Glaze
Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink (Wild Plum)
Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink (Stream)
Gelly Roll Pen (white)
Gradient Dots/Number Grid Cardstock (Basic Grey)
I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial using Joggles Halloween Collage Sheets. You don’t need a lot of skilled coloring techniques to make these wonderful images come alive because they are beautifully designed.
