Embossing powder. Not something that usually makes your heart go pitter-patter. It’s a staple creative item that you may not think about all that much.
For the most part these powders are ground reasonably fine and melt to a smooth, even finish. Yes, ground… embossing powder is nothing more than ground plastic in the form of various sized particles. Colors vary and there can be some special effects. How finely ground the particles are affects how detailed you can get with any powder. Typically used with rubber stamps, the finer the powder the more precise detail you’re going to be able to achieve.
So interesting for sure, but it doesn’t set my heart to fluttering with excitement.
Until earlier this year when Seth Apter and Emerald Vreek teamed up and developed Baked Textures. Designed from the ground up to provide texture you can feel, these Textures are very different from most any other embossing powder you may have tried.
Throw away your ideas about embossing powders and embrace all that is wonderful about Bakes Textures!

These embossing powders are VERY tempting! I just watched a video by AnneMarie Ridderhof where she uses embossing powder in her alcohol Ink Creations. I thought that was terrific and voila this morning you show me the embossing powders. Destined for me, when I can lay my hands on some money!
Can’t wait to get these! They look different and exciting as I love all things textured. Thanks for making them available.
Thanks Barb. This is one of the best videos out there using Baked Texture. Much appreciation.
You’re welcome. They’re a marvelous product!
