Today’s video was filmed while I was preparing the page spreads in the 12 Strathmore Art Journals that were part of a giveaway promotion that ran at the end of last year, from November 20th to the 30th. In it you’ll see me splash color on pages, use stencils, stamp with ink and paint, and lots more. If getting started on those blank white pages is a little intimidating, this video will help. If you wondered about my process, you’ll see it here. I hope that you find it interesting!

I love watching you make the backgrounds, but what do you do next? How does it change from just background to a finished piece? Ca. You show me some examples or do a tutorial about where you go from just the background? I would so appreciate it.
Dear Barb,
Would you demo the new page inserts that are now available from Ranger?
I haven’t seen a you tube video on how they actually work. I’m interested if they function much like the inclusions in the Donna Downey journals.
Thank you,
Claudia
Hi Claudia,
I will try to fit them into my video schedule. I too am curious about them and want to see how they work and what I can do with them in addition to being tipped in to an existing journal.
