I know many of you would like to post photos of your pages and at last I have a solution. It’s not a perfect one, but it will allow those of you who would like to share your work a place to do so. Each blog post includes the ability for readers to add a comment. We have expanded that functionality to permit photos to be uploaded, one per comment.
When you are looking at the comments the option to add one appears immediately at the end of the post and looks like this…
The arrow is pointing to the new functionality and how you will upload your photo/s. The first step is to edit the photo; cropping and optimizing it as needed, then save it to your computer or device’s hard drive. You will need to know where the image has been saved, so either create a new folder or use an existing one, but in both cases be sure you know how to find it after the fact.
Once the image is ready, click the “Browse” button that the arrow points to and navigate to the folder where you saved the image. When you find it, click on it and then click the “Open” button to select it. Alternatively, just double click on the image to select it.
With the image taken care of, add your comment as usual. There is a limit of one image per comment (sorry – I know that’s a bit of a pain!), so if you would like to share a second photo follow the instructions and add another comment, attaching the photo in the same way.
Thanks for participating in the 2016 AJA and for taking the time to leave a comment and/or share a photo!

Thanks so much for letting us share our work. It’s always fun to see other people’s interpretation of the same ideas. I’ll post some pictures soon.
Can you please give us an example of the desired file resolution and with possible pixel dimensions? I tried uploading a .jpg and got an error message about file type/size. Thank you!
Hey Muffy,
Try to keep the dimensions of the image at no more than 600 pixels in either direction. For anything viewed on the internet, a resolution of 72 dpi is perfect. Both of those things will cause your images to be sized small enough for the blog not to object. There are size limitations in place to prevent huge images from being added to comments.

Thank you! That helps.
I too tried to up load a picture and got the ” error ” box. I am a neophyte and jpg, pixels and boxes are Greek to me. I will ask one of my sons and I’ll try again.
Tried to post and had an error msg.
I used ink on old rumbled tissue and made an eye and nose and mouth…used gel medium to attach to a page I used ‘left-over’ paint. I then refined and added more detail to the eye nose and lips. Three days after I did this, it was discovered I had nearly gone blind in my left eye. My art speaks to me…..I should listen.
