Today is the first day of autumn in the northern hemisphere and I can’t think of a better way to kick off the fall season than with a Midweek Muse video that’s a Halloween themed project. With that in mind, I’m thrilled to share the newest incarnation of our Wonky Wood Houses, Halloween style!
I incorporated Graphic 45’s Rare Oddities paper and embellishments with several of the Wonky Wood Houses and am really happy with the way they turned out. They’re a perfect way to get in the Halloween mood and get autumn in full swing. You’ll hear me mention in the video that there’s an added section right at the end that I filmed after I thought I was finished with the project. In true “me” fashion, there were leftovers of DecoFoil from when I’d filmed the video lying around my work bench and I realized that the Lime Green was a perfect accompaniment to the colors in the Rare Oddities collection. Before I knew it, I was off and running and my houses were covered with line green dots. I think they’re a much better finished project now and am happy that being a slob worked out so well!
