Welcome to Inspiration Friday and a new video courtesy of Cat Kerr. Today she’s transforming a Memorydex Tray with layers of paper, gesso, Aqua Inks, and some other bits like our Watercolor Artist Trading Coins.
Memorydex is Heidi Swapp’s system to hold rotary file cards. Journaldex is our watercolor version of rotary file cards. Combine them for a pretty awesome project!
I like the idea of Journaldex for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the sense of satisfaction that comes with finishing even one card. It’s quite easy to finish more than that in a sitting of course. It just depends on how much time you have.
Thanks to Cat for sharing her ideas and inspiring us to try something new!
