Welcome to Wednesday and today’s MidWeek Muse where we’re exploring alternative techniques with Joggles stencils. In previous videos we looked at using sprays with them, and while the results are fabulous, there are plenty of other products to try, ones that give very different results than Color Wash and Dylusions Ink Sprays.
The first technique is where I use Light Modeling Paste with the stencils, which puts the pattern on a surface with lots of texture. Using gels, mediums, and pastes with stencils is not new of course, but as I was playing and trying to achieve a particular look things didn’t turn out quite the way I expected. Actually, I ended up liking the “mistake” far better than what I originally planned!
