Welcome to Wednesday, the newest MidWeek Muse video featuring the 6 brand new colors of Dylusions Ink Sprays and the newest stencil designs, and a new promotion!
The incredible popularity of all things Dylusions continues unabated. When I began to experiment with the 6 new colors I was so taken with them that I knew a video was in order. Stepping slightly away from her usual super bright colors, this time Dyan developed 3 earth tones, 2 new brights, and a neutral grey which really round out the palette.
I’ve used the new colors almost exclusively in this video with what I think are wonderful results. If I confessed a lack of interest in black or grey I don’t think it would surprise those of you who watch the videos. I have color preferences and neutrals are generally not what I reach for. What I discovered is that Chopped Pesto (an earth tone), Polished Jade (a bright), and Slate Grey (the neutral) made a wonderful color combination and you’ll see that page spread in the segment where I work with White Linen sprayed on top of them. I also discovered that Pomegranate Seed (a second earth tone) and Tangerine Dream (bright, bright, bright!) coupled with Butterscotch (from the Color Wash line) make another lovely combination. Funky Fuchsia works really well with Pomegranate Seed and Tangerine Dream too!
You’ll see me demo those color combinations, plus ways to use the new colors with White Linen; you can make custom pastel semi opaque colors or use the White Linen sprayed directly over the colors. All will be revealed in the video!
