Welcome to Wednesday and today’s MidWeek Muse video where I’m back at it, working on my Creativity Calendar Journal for the months of April and May.
This time rather than stick with the individual blocks and confine those days to one page spread, I worked a bit differently with April, allowing it to spill over to four. I arranged the 30 days so that they fit in those four spreads and I am very happy with the results. Each is quite different, which I really like, and I’m demoing lots of techniques and providing explanations of what I did and how I did it. At the very end you’ll see a glimpse of my May spread, which returns to the regular one month per spread format. This one too is quite different, with flowers being the focus. Pale pastels rule May, with subtle shimmer on the individual 1 1/2″ squares that represent the days. It’s soft, feminine, and really pretty.
