Have you ever looked at a piece; a thing or object, and had that momentary feeling of awe, which is quickly followed by “I need that!” racing through your mind?
That’s what happened when I first saw the Relics & Artifacts collection from Sandra Evertson and Prima. A little thrill ran through me as I recognized how awesome the elements in the group are. I was excited when I placed the order and even more so once it arrived. I’m thrilled to share that Relics & Artifacts are the subject of today’s MidWeek Muse video.
Included are Milagros, Ex Votos, Cameos, Medallions, Icons, and more. They were cast from Sandra’s antique pieces which she’s been collecting for a long time and the detail is amazing. Flaming hearts just begging for metallic paint and glitter. Cameos that look fabulous wth a light layer of Inka Gold, or create a wash of Inka Gold and use it to define the crevices in the pieces. At the very end you’ll see a small piece I created with a niche which holds a Milagro. It’s easy to do and looks fabulous.

Bonjour,
D’avance merci. Cordialement

Hello,
You must not allow the gel medium to dry before adding the glitter. It has to be wet and sticky for the glitter to adhere.
